New head of major Olefins & Polyolefins unit announced
US-based LyondellBasell (LYB, Houston, Texas; www.lyondellbasell.com) has announced that Kimberly Foley will take over as executive vice-president of its Global Olefins & Polyolefins business with effect from 1 March 2024. The company at the same time announced the departure of the previous division head, Ken Lane.

Prior to her new position, Foley was executive VP of LyondellBasell’s Intermediates and Derivates segment and its Refining and Supply Chain business. The company said the latter will be subsumed under her new responsibilities, while Aaron Ledet will take over as head of Intermediates and Derivates. He had previously been in charge of LYB’s Olefins & Polyolefins Americas division.

Both Foley and Ledet have years of management experience in the petrochemicals sector.
