Acquisition of Turkish rubber and plastics additives distributor

Belgian speciality chemicals and food additives distributor Azelis (Antwerp; www.azelis.com) has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Turkish speciality chemicals distributor Dağaltı Kaucuk (Istanbul; www.dagalti.com). The acquisition strengthens Azelis’ rubber and plastics additives footprint in Turkey.

CEO Sadik Dağaltı is to continue leading the business to ensure a smooth transition. The transaction is expected to close at the end of Q3 after the fulfilment of customary closing conditions.

Dağaltı Kaucuk considers itself a leader in rubber and additives in the Turkish market. It is an active distributor of speciality chemicals, accelerators, industrial chemicals, peroxides, rubber raw materials, silica, and quartz.
