Technical textiles specialist Low & Bonar (London / UK; www.lowandbonar.com) is now part of the Freudenberg group (Weinheim / Germany; www.freudenberg.com), which announced that it has acquired all shares of the UK company. The German technology group made its offer in September 2019 (see Plasteurope.com of 08.10.2019), and the European Commission gave approval for the buy on 17 April 2020.
As of 13 May, Low & Bonar is no longer listed on the London stock exchange. The company will now be integrated into Freudenberg’s Performance Materials business.
