New line expands PA, PBT and PPA compounding capacity in Turkey
Turkish compounder Epsan Plastic (Bursa; www.epsan-ep.com) is planning to increase its PA, PBT and PPA compounding capacity in Bursa by 13,000 t/y. The company will install a new extrusion line supplied by Coperion (Stuttgart / Germany; www.coperion.com).

The new Coperion “ZSK 70 Mc18” twin-screw extruder line will raise Epsan’s compounding capacity to 45,000 t/y. The Turkish company, which already has five Coperion compounding lines, distributes PA 6.6, PA 6, PBT and PPA compounds to Europe, Asia and North America under the “Eplamid”, “Eplon” and “Epimix” brand names. Epsan global sales director Arda Efe said the capacity expansion will strengthen the company's position in existing European countries as well as help it focus on technical sales, with sales offices in Germany, Italy and Spain.
