On 4 April, Aquatherm (Attendorn / Germany; www.aquatherm-pipesystems.com), which manufactures PP-R pipeline systems for building services and plant engineering, held a ceremony in the USA to celebrate the grand opening of its new site in Lindon in the state of Utah. The new location comprises an area of more than 7,600 m² for administration, warehouses and production. The depot gives customers access to PP-R pipes with diameters ranging from 20 to 630 mm.

Aquatherm has been active in North America since 2006. The company began operating there with a marketing partner in Canada, soon after which it opened a sales office in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since 1 December 2015, the two North American marketing companies have been fully owned by the Aquatherm Group. At the same time, the decision was taken to build a new site in Lindon to ensure better product availability locally, to expand the field of pre-fabrication and offer partners – architects, designers and installation technicians – possibilities for further training.
