New “Eplamid” PA compound for optical frame applications
Turkish compounds producer Epsan Plastic (Bursa; www.epsan.com.tr) continues to expand its “Eplamid” range. After introducing two high-temperature PPA grades earlier this year (see Plasteurope.com of 18.02.2015), the company in September launched Eplamid TN NC P02, a fast-flow compound that serves as an alternative for optical frame applications.
The new grade is characterised by high transparency, good chemical resistance, low moisture absorption and high heat distortion temperature, Epsan said. The compounder operates two plants in Turkey and sells its portfolio across more than 35 countries.
