Takeover of Graham Packaging is wrapped up
After a bidding race in which Reynolds Group (Chicago, Illinois / USA; www.reynoldspkg.com) was able to maintain the upper hand (see Plasteurope.com of 20.06.2011), the holding on 8 September 2011 announced that it had completed its acquisition of Graham Packaging (York, Pennsylvania / USA; www.grahampackaging.com). The purchase price, including net debt, amounted to USD 25.50 per share, and ended up being about USD 4.5 bn.
