Sabic said it has collaborated with compatriot companies Napco National (Dammam; www.napconational.com) a manufacturer of flexible films and packaging products, and Fonte, a baking enterprise, to produce bread bags using two food-contact grades from Sabic’s Trucircle portfolio of ISCC Plus certified circular PE resins.

The mixed, post-consumer plastics waste is converted into pyrolysis oil and used to produce new polymers with the same purity and performance as traditional virgin plastics, Sabic said.
