Distribution of medical copolyester grades from Selenis in Europe
Resinex (Arendonk, Belgium; www.resinex.com) said it has taken over the distribution of medical PET-G range, Selcare, fromĀ Selenis (Portalegre, Portugal; www.selenis.com). The agreement applies to the supply of the entire European region.

Selcare HC 300 is an amorphous copolyester that was specially developed for injection-moulded parts in the medical sector, such as components for fluid management, dialysis, and injection applications. The Safe grades, on the other hand, can be used for thin-walled applications such as evacuated blood collection tubes and syringe caps.

Resinex, a subsidiary of the Ravago (Luxembourg; www.ravago.com), already distributes other copolyester specialities from Selenis. In 2023, the Portuguese, which belongs to the IMG Group, bundled several PET-G grades under the Selcare brand name, aimed at applications in medical technology and packaging.
