Guenther Nadolny appointed new director general of RusVinyl
On 1 December 2011, Guenther Nadolny took over as new director general of RusVinyl (Nizhny Novgorod / Russia; www.rusvinyl.ru), the 50:50 PVC and caustic soda joint venture between SolVin (Brussels / Belgium; www.solvinpvc.com) and Siberian-Ural Petrochemical (Sibur, Moscow / Russia; www.sibur.ru). He replaces Jean-Louis Plyumkok, who has been at the helm of the jv since it was first created in 2008. Plyumkok will stay on as counselor director-general.

Nadolny’s career spans 28 years at Solvay (Brussels / Belgium; www.solvay.com), including mosts recently as CEO of the Belgian group’s PVC operations in Thailand.
