Sidel appoints Alessandro Paini as vice president product management / Pavel Shevshuk named vice president for Europe and Central Asia

Swiss beverage packaging equipment supplier Sidel (Hunenberg; www.sidel.com) has announced two senior appointments aimed at strengthening its ability to meet rising demand for PET solutions for liquid packaging. Alessandro Paini, who has been with the company for 20 years and last served as zone vice president for Europe and Central Asia, has been appointed vice president of product management at its global headquarters in Hunenberg.
His former position will be assumed by Pavel Shevchuk, who previously served as managing director at Sidel Vostok (Moscow / Russia), and will now relocate to the group’s new regional headquarter in Frankfurt / Germany (see also Plasteurope.com of 01.05.2013). The HQ is responsible for activities across 60 countries. Before joining Sidel, Shevchuk spent 12 years at sister company Tetra Pak.
