Effective 1 November 2017, Evonik Industries (Essen / Germany; www.evonik.com) will raise prices worldwide for all PU additives by 5-10%, depending on the product type. The increases will affect the "Tegostab", "Tegoamin", "Gorapur", "Ortegol", "Dabco", "Polycat" and "Kosmos" brands. Stannous octoate ("Kosmos 29" and "Dabco T9") is an exception, which will be dealt with separately. The company says this measure is to offset the rising raw material, energy, labour and transportation costs.

The company has recently announced several price increases. MMA monomers and speciality products, PMMA moulding compounds and C4-based grades are also set to become more expensive in the coming months – see Plasteurope.com of 28.09.2017.
