With immediate effect, Arkema (Colombes / France; www.arkema.com) lifted the prices for "Durastrength" acrylic impact modifiers in rigid and flexible PVC applications and its "Plastistrength" PVC processing aids. In Europe (including Russia and Middle-East) increases will range from 10% to 18%, depending on grades and recent raw material price movements.

In addition, Arkema announced a global price increase for its "Clearstrength" MBS (MMA-butadiene-styrene) impact modifiers by 20% to 40% with effect on 1 February 2017. These impact modifiers are used in several thermoplastic matrixes.

All these products are manufactured in Vlissingen / The Netherlands.
