Additional site begins additive production in Italy

US-based Ampacet (Tarrytown, New York; www.ampacet.com) has announced the opening of a plant for additive production in Brembate, Italy, which the company said is already running at full capacity.

Ampacet spoke of eventually doubling output but provided no details about production levels.

The company has 26 manufacturing sites and 19 technology centres worldwide and employs more than 2,000 people. It recently added NIR-detectable black materials for flexible applications (see Plasteurope.com of 23.06.2022).

The European business, which is managed from Dudelange, Luxembourg, includes plants in Messancy, Belgium; Telgate and Busto Garolfo in Italy; Telford, UK; Redkino, Russia; and Warsaw.
