Plastics industry network Kunststoffland NRW (Düsseldorf, Germany; www.kunststoffland-nrw.de) is inviting people to a dialogue with decision-makers from politics and business on the eve of the K trade fair in Düsseldorf. A high-level reception of this kind was also held in 2019, with several hundred guests in attendance.

The motto for this year’s event is “Plastics in challenging times”. As a keynote speaker and participant in the subsequent panel discussion, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Robert Habeck will be linked in live from Berlin. Kunststoffland NRW managing director Ron Brinitzer will also be speaking among others with Mona Neubaur, Minister of Economic Affairs for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Covestro CEO Markus Steilemann, and the CEO of Duales System Holding Michael Wiener about the industry’s most urgent concerns, including energy supplies, climate protection, and the closed-loop economy.

The event, which Plasteurope.com is supporting as a media partner, is scheduled to start at 5.15 PM on 18 October 2022 in the Turbinenhalle of Stadtwerke Düsseldorf.
