Nexeo takes over distribution of PVC grades for medical applications in DACH region

US distributor Nexeo Plastics (The Woodlands, Texas; www.nexeoplastics.com) will take over the distribution of PVC grades for medical applications from compounder TPV Compound (Argenta, Italy; www.tpvcompound.com) with immediate effect. Specifically, the agreement covers Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
The grades, which are also available in bio-based variants, include products for extrusion, injection moulding, and blow moulding of both dimensionally stable and flexible products. Applications include masks, dialysis sets, catheters, spiral tubing, blood and drip bags, and peristaltic pumps.
According to TPV, the PVC grades are sterilisable and comply with international standards such as REACH Regulation 1907/2006/EU or RoHS 3 Directive 2015/863/EU.
