German PVC window profile manufacturer Profine (Troisdorf; www.profine-group.com) has put the first extrusion line of its Bosnia-Herzegovina subsidiary Profine BH online in Živinice. In 2023, the company plans to install another eight extruders in a new building currently under construction, said COO Christian Amling. Window profiles capacity would then be at 10,000 t/y.

Profine added that it was adapting the technology and infrastructure to the manufacture of country-specific products.

The German firm first opened a distribution company in Živinice in 2004, which has in the meantime been expanded to include four foiling lines.
