Recyclable PET blister film for pharma products

Film specialist Klöckner Pentaplast (kp, Montabaur / Germany; www.kpfilms.com) has announced the launch of a new PET blister film. According to the company, its “kpNext” product is the only recyclable PET blister pack to date that can be used by the pharmaceutical industry and plastics processors without converting equipment.

Klöckner Pentaplast has adopted an ambitious sustainability strategy. Under the motto “Investing in Better”, all packaging is to become recyclable over the next four years. Additionally, the company wants to increase its energy efficiency by 17% and reduce its emissions by half by the end of 2025.
