The distribution portfolio of Albis (Hamburg / Germany; is set to be expanded with immediate effect to include TPE product series “Evoprene R” of US compounder Alphagary (Leominster, Massachusetts;

The TPE-S compounds are particularly suitable for applications with high regulatory requirements – for example products with food-contact, medical and dental uses, or for children’s toys. The compound series was developed with food-grade ingredients in accordance with directives EU 10/2011, 1935/2004 and US FDA 21CFR.

Evoprene R grades are available with Shore hardness from A12 to A73. According to Albis, the technical properties of the TPE-S compounds are characterised by good resilience and resistance to various mediums. They behave like rubber, but flow like thermoplastics when exposed to heat and pressure.
