Manufacturer of XPS boards hikes prices
Due to the dramatic increase in raw material costs, Jackon Insulation (Steinhagen / Germany; www.jackon-insulation.com) has announced price hikes for extruded polystyrene products. From 26 April 2021, the German subsidiary of Jackon (Fredrikstad / Norway; www.jackon.no) plans to raise the cost of its “Jackoboard” XPS boards by 10%, and for “Jackoboard Aqua” products by 5%. For extruded foam and special products of its “Jackodur” brand, price hikes of up to 12% are also planned from 26 April.

In February 2021, the company had announced a raise of 15.5% for “Jackodur XPS” and special products, effective from 19 April. Jackon also pointed teh limited availability of its “Jackoboard” products, and that its “Jackodur” range can only be delivered according to existing capacities.
