Germany’s Domo Chemicals (Leuna; www.domochemicals.com) said it has named US-based firm Bamberger Polymers (Jericho, New York; www.bambergerpolymers.com) an authorised distribution partner for the company’s North American product portfolio, which includes “Domamid”, “Econamid” and “Domonyl” polyamide 6 and 6.6 compounds. The materials supplier noted that the US company has more than 50 years of experience in the plastics industry.

Bamberger’s technical sales team provides a “broad reach” in North America for distribution, technical services, and logistics, according to the German company. Domo said its own plant in Buford, Georgia, features the integrated manufacturing of materials based on PA 6 and PA 6.6, and many special solutions created with other polymers available exclusively in the US, such as “Slique” special friction wear modified solutions, “Elastane” TPU, and high-thermal and chemicals-resistant solutions based on PPA and PPS.
