Plastics distributor K.D. Feddersen (Hamburg / Germany; www.kdfeddersen.com) has expanded its portfolio to include medical grades. As of March 2021, the trading house has been selling engineering plastics from Celanese (Dallas, Texas / USA; www.celanese.com) for use in healthcare in Europe.
The range includes “Hostaform” POM, “Vectra” LCP, “Celanex” PBT, “Ateva” EVA and “Fortron” PPS. K.D. Feddersen has been a long-standing distributor for the US chemicals group – so far mainly in the automotive, E&E and industrial application sectors.
