Since January 2021, internationally active chemical distributor Nordmann (Hamburg / Germany; www.nordmann.global) has been selling additional “Hema-P” preparations from Evonik (Essen / Germany; www.evonik.com).
This specifically concerns flame-retardant coatings of Evonik’s “Visiomer” product range. It includes the products, “Visiomer Hema-P 70M” and “Visiomer Hema P-100”, phosphorus-based coatings of high viscosity. The Hamburg-based distribution company and the Essen-based speciality chemicals group have been working together in the sale of monomers since 1995.
Recently, Nordmann announced distribution partnerships for engineering plastics from manufacturer Repol (Almazora / Spain; www.repol.com – see Plasteurope.com of 20.10.2020) and took over the marketing of natural fibre-reinforced bio-compounds from Biofibre (Altdorf / Germany; www.biofibre.de – see Plasteurope.com of 28.10.2020). Nordmann employs 460 people in 25 subsidiaries in Europe, Asia and North America. In 2019, the company achieved sales of around EUR 440m.
