From 1 May 2021, sulfone-based, high-performance polymers “Udel” (PSU), “Radel” (PPSU) and “Veradel” (PESU) from Solvay (Brussels / Belgium; www.solvay.com) will be available in Italy through Nevicolor (Luzzara / Italy; www.nevicolor.it), the resin maker said.

Nevicolor has been distributing special polymers from Solvay in the Italian market for 35 years. Besides the new additions, the portfolio includes semi-crystalline polymers (“Amodel” PPA, “Ryton” PPS, “Ixef” PARA, “Omnix” and “Kalix” HPPA), aromatic polyketones (“KetaSpire” PEEK and “AvaSpire” PAEK), fluoropolymers (“Hyflon” PFA/MFA, “Solef” PVDF, “Halar” ECTFE and “Tecnoflon” FKM) and “Xencor” brand long fibre thermoplastics (LFT).

Based in the province of Reggio Emilia, Nevicolor is one of the leading full-range suppliers in the production and distribution of thermoplastic granules and powders in Italy, according to Solvay.
