KEM ONE
Sharp price increase for PVC
Polyvinyl chloride supplier Kem One (Lyon / France; www.kemone.com) plans to raise prices massively in March 2021. For S-PVC, the company announced surcharges of EUR 190/t, while E-PVC is set to become EUR 200/t more expensive.

Kem One justified the new price hikes with the still-prevailing shortage of materials on the market, which was exacerbated by winter storm-related production losses in the US, as well as the increased costs for energy, ethylene and other raw materials.
