Distribution of subsidiary Vinnolit's speciality PVC in North America
German PVC producer Vinnolit (Ismaning; www.vinnolit.com) has announced that distribution of product from its speciality PVC business in North America will be managed by parent company Westlake Chemical (Houston, Texas / USA; www.westlake.com), effective immediately. Shawnee Chemicals (Princeton, New Jersey / USA; www.shawnee.com), the current distributor for Vinnolit’s speciality PVC in Canada and the US, will remain an integral part of the Vinnolit strategy.

“We are pleased about this development because the North American speciality PVC market has been of strategic importance to Vinnolit for many years,” said Vinnolit’s sales director Jürgen Luderer.

US chemicals and PVC group Westlake purchased Vinnolit in 2014 – see Plasteurope.com of 28.05.2014.
