"VinylPlus Sustainability Forum" 2020 arrives in Florence in May

VinylPlus (Brussels / Belgium; www.vinylplus.eu), the European PVC industry’s sustainable development programme, is holding its annual “Sustainability Forum” in Florence / Italy from 6-7 May 2020. This year’s event theme, #circularvinyl, will encompass the EU’s “Green Deal”, on top of making a straightforward hashtag to use.
The programme for #VSF2020 also includes turning PVC sustainability progress into business opportunities, redesigning urban environments, product certification with respect to building green and NGO perspectives on environmental issues. For 2030 and beyond, some of the PVC industry drivers to be discussed are innovation, partnerships and business growth.
The two-day forum has presentations, panel discussions and workshops lined up. It will bring together experts from the European Commission and European Parliament, the UN, national authorities, academia, NGOs and specialists in the PVC value chain.
