Acquisition of US injection moulder TransNav completed
French plastics processor Plastiques du Val de Loire (Plastivaloire, Langeais; www.groupe-plastivaloire.com) has completed the acquisition of its US competitor TransNav (New Baltimore, Michigan; www.transnav.com) – see Plasteurope.com of 01.11.2018. The buy gives Plastivaloire two plants in the US – in New Baltimore (45 injection moulding machines) and Danville, Kentucky (20 injection moulding machines).

Plasteurope.com was informed that TransRompa, the joint venture of TransNav and Dutch plastics processor Rompa (Tilburg; www.rompagroup.com), will continue to operate as before. TransRompa was established in 2015 – see Plasteurope.com of 24.02.2015 – and is located at TransNav's site in Puebla / Mexico, which has 25 injection moulding machines.
