James Guilfoyle named executive VP of new Advanced Polymer Solutions business

LyondellBasell (LBI, Houston, Texas / USA; www.lyondellbasell.com) has named James Guilfoyle as executive vice president of Advanced Polymer Solutions and Global Supply Chain. Most recently, Guilfoyle was the company's senior VP of Global Intermediates and Derivatives and Global Supply Chain.
The Advanced Polymer Solutions segment will be created following LBI's completion of the A. Schulman (Akron, Ohio / USA; www.aschulman.com) takeover – see Plasteurope.com of 02.07.2018. The segment will include LyondellBasell's existing PP compounding, polybutene-1 and "Catalloy" businesses, as well as the assets acquired from A. Schulman.
