AMPACET
Additive production line launched in Belgium
Leading masterbatch producer Ampacet (Tarrytown, New York / USA; www.ampacet.com) has announced the start-up of a new additive production line in Messancy / Belgium to reduce lead times and offer more flexibility for deliveries. It said in March last year that it would raise capacity at two European locations including in Messancy, Ampacet’s largest site in Europe where it produces a complete range of colour as well as black and white masterbatches (see Plasteurope.com of 10.03.2017).

“The newly-installed line ensures that we will have the capacity to respond to future market growth as well,” said Europe managing director Marcello Bergamo. Built in 1986, the Messancy facility was Ampacet’s first European investment.
