European Plastics Converters (EuPC, Brussels / Belgium; www.plasticsconverters.eu) and Unionplast, part of the Italian plastics and rubber industry association Federazione Gomma Plastica (Milan; www.federazionegommaplastica.it), are co-organising the annual meeting for the European plastics converting industry in Milan from 24-25 May 2018. The two associations represent plastics converters at the national and European levels, and anticipate bringing together about 250 participants from all over Europe for the event.

The first day will have forums focusing on the packaging, automotive and construction industries. On the evening of the first day, the “Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe 2018” will take place during the gala dinner – see Plasteurope.com of 20.02.2018. On the second day, the conference is concerned with the theme "A Circular Future with Plastics". Confirmed speakers include Elżbieta Bieńkowska (European Commission for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs), Luca Iazzolino (Plastotecnica), Giorgio Quagliuolo (Sicon), Renato Zelcher (Crocco), Markus Steilemann (Covestro) and Michael Kundel (Renolit).
