In addition to headquarters in Germany and sales offices in France, China and the USA, Hekuma (Eching / Germany; www.hekuma.com) has expanded its sales in the UK and Ireland. Aaron Houston recently joined the company to serve customers in the two regions. Based in Southampton / UK, the move expands Hekuma's local market presence in the medical devices, automotive and consumer goods sectors. According to the company, this measure is due to rising demand for high-performance automation systems.

Together with Engel (Schwertberg / Austria; www.engelglobal.com), the German firm will be exhibiting at "interplas" (www.interplasuk.com) in Birmingham / UK from 26 to 28 September 2017. Hekuma employs about 160 people and is focused on injection moulding automation. It is part of the elexis group (Wenden / Germany; www.elexis.de), which encompasses industrial automation and quality assurance systems.
