Purchase of Italian TPE specialist API complete
Trinseo's (Berwyn, Pennsylvania / USA; www.trinseo.com) acquisition of thermoplastic elastomer compounder Applicazioni Plastiche Industriali (API, Mussolente / Italy; www.apiplastic.com) – see Plasteurope.com of 20.06.2017 – is now complete. The purchase includes API's manufacturing and research facility in Mussolente as well as all trades, employees and assets. The API management team and employees are now part of Trinseo's Performance Plastics business unit.
API's soft-touch thermoplastic elastomers, together with Trinseo's rigid polymers, will be offered to customers worldwide.
