More than 170,000 visitors at world's leading packaging trade fair in Düsseldorf

A record number of international visitors attended "interpack 2017" (www.interpack.com) from 4 - 10 May, which ended Wednesday evening. Of the approximately 170,500 visitors counted at the world's leading trade fair for the packaging industry, almost three-quarters (74%) came from abroad, said organiser Messe Düsseldorf (www.messe-duesseldorf.com). As a first summary, this showed a high level of satisfaction among visitors and exhibitors.
Plasteurope.com's on-site impression was that in the packaging area, plastics exhibitors dominated the scene more than ever before. This ultimately reflects the material's importance for the packaging industry.
