Groundbreaking for new production facility in Mexico

German automotive OEM Boge Rubber & Plastics (Damme; www.boge-rubber-plastics.com) will begin production in Mexico in 2017. The company established a subsidiary in the country in 2016 and has now started construction of a production facility in San Luis PotosÃ.
The start of manufacturing is scheduled for mid-2017 at the 5,000 m² plant, which will produce plastic components and modules as well as vibration technology solutions for chassis and powertrain systems.
Boge invested close to EUR 60m last year on expansions in Germany, Slovakia and China (see Plasteurope.com of 29.06.2015). The company has been part of Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology (Zhuzhou, Hunan / China; www.trp.com.cn) since 2013.
