In a move aimed at expanding its European footprint, Turkish compounder Epsan (Bursa; www.epsan.com.tr) recently set up a sales office in Barcelona / Spain. The company’s second facility of this kind outside of Turkey – the other, established in 2014, is located in Dortmund / Germany (see Plasteurope.com of 08.01.2014) – is headed by Rafael Sanz and will offer customer training, sales, technical support and product demonstrations. Epsan’s engineering compounds portfolio is mostly earmarked for automotive and E&E applications.

Epsan produces its range of PA 6, PA 6.6, PBT and PPA compounds at two plants in Bursa, with overall nameplate capacity for 35,000 t/y.
