Purchase of MACtac's Europe business wrapped up
Avery Dennison (Pasadena, California / USA; www.averydennison.com) has completed its takeover of the European business of high-quality pressure-sensitive materials producer MACtac (Stow, Ohio / USA; www.mactac.com) – for previous coverage, see Plasteurope.com of 11.05.2016. The US labelling and packaging materials specialist paid EUR 200m for the operations, which include a production plant in Soignies / Belgium as well as sales offices and warehouses in Europe and Asia.
MACtac’s business in the US, Canada and Mexico will remain in the hands of investor Platinum Equity (Los Angeles, California / USA; www.platinumequity.com).
