Takeover of BASF's catalyst business wrapped up
BASF (Ludwigshafen / Germany; www.basf.com) has finalised the sale of its global polyolefin catalyst business to US-based W. R. Grace (Columbia, Maryland; www.grace.com) after receiving all necessary approvals (see Plasteurope.com of 28.04.2016).
The transaction includes technologies, patents, trademarks and the transfer of the German group’s production plants in Pasadena, Texas / USA and Tarragona / Spain, along with its 170 employees.
