Takeover of Superfos wrapped up
Following January’s shareholders’ approval – see Plasteurope.com of 13.01.2011 – rigid plastics packaging supplier RPC Group (Higham Ferrers, Rushden / UK; www.rpc-group.com) on 18 February announced that it had completed its takeover of injection moulded packaging manufacturer Superfos Industries (Taastrup / Denmark; www.superfos.com). RPC expects the acquisition to strengthen its capability and competitiveness in the open top filled injection moulded plastic packaging market, to increase its customer base and geographic coverage and to enhance its purchasing position, among others.
