Plastivaloire: Second automotive parts jv in Tunisia
French plastics converter Plastiques du Val de Loire (Plastivaloire, Langeais; www.plastivaloire.com) has founded a second joint venture with its partner Plastec (Ben Arous / Tunisia; www.plastec.com.tn) in Sousse / Tunisia. The newly founded Injection Plastiques Systemes (IPS, Sousse / Tunisia), in which Plastivaloire holds a 60% stake is to build a 4,000 m² production facility for injection-moulded car parts on a site measuring a total of 10,000 m². Some 200 employees are expected to begin working there from January 2011. Tunisian media report that the investment amounts to TND 6m, equivalent to around EUR 3.2m.
