Elastogran company name to be dropped
As part of the rebranding of its polyurethanes business, BASF (Ludwigshafen / Germany; www.basf.com) has clarified the status of the Elastogran company name – see Plasteurope.com of 17.11.2009. In future, the lead company Elastogran GmbH (Lemförde / Germany; www.elastogran.de) will trade as BASF Polyurethanes.
The decision to rename will not affect the company’s legal status and will have no effect on existing contractual agreements with employees or customers, BASF said. The name Elastogran will continue to be used in the group’s new pan-European branding “PU Systems Elastogran”.
