Production plant for flexible displays has opened in Dresden
Plastic Logic Ltd (Cambridge / UK; www.plasticlogic.com) officially opened its new production facility for polymer-based flexible displays in Dresden / Germany on 17 September 2008. Plans to build this fully automated facility were announced in early 2007 – see Plasteurope.com of 05.01.2007 – and the first products are expected to come onto the market at the start of 2009. The plant will initially employ 83 people, rising to 140 next year.
