PCC acquisition strengthens Benelux presence / Independent systems house with 10,000 m² plant
Elastogran (Lemförde / Germany; www.elastogran.com), the polyurethanes subsidiary of BASF (Ludwigshafen / Germany; www.basf.com), is to acquire the Dutch polyurethane system house Polymer Chemical Company (PCC, Boxtel / The Netherlands; www.pcc-bv.nl). Financial details were not disclosed. Through the move, designed to strengthen Elastrogran´s position in the Benelux market, PCC will join the company´s eleven existing PU system houses in Europe.
PCC was founded in 1976 and has since operated independently producing polyurethane rigid foam systems and spray coatings. The company has around 30 employees and a 10,000 m² plant. Once the deal is concluded, PCC will become a subsidiary company under the name Elastogran BeNeLux.
