Polish chemical group Anwil S.A. (PL-87805 Wloclawek; www.anwil.com.pl) has agreed a joint venture with two Korean companies, SK Chemicals (www.skchemicals.com/english; Seoul) and SK Global to build a USD 60m, 120,000 t/y PET bottle chip plant at Wloclawek. According to the companies, this is the first participation by an Asian PET player in the European market.
