Plastics processer considering building a new plant in the Czech Republic
Wolters Packaging Czech (Kostenice / Czech Republic), a subsidiary of plastics converter Wolters Europe (Enter / The Netherlands; www.wolterseurope.com) is considering building a new production plant in Kostenice in the Czech Republic. The company declined to give further details.
According to the Czechinvest agency, construction work should start this year and be completed by 2012. The planned development will comprise some 12,000 m2. The local authorities are currently examining the environmental impact of the project. Czechinvest reports that Wolters Packaging Czech’s customers include the automotive industry.
Its parent company Wolters Europe has sites in the Netherlands and Hungary as well as the Czech Republic. The company produces plastic packaging for food, pharmaceutical and industrial applications. Materials used include PE, PU, EPS, EPP and HI PS.
