Global distribution company Vinmar International (Houston, Texas / USA; www.vinmar.com) has launched a polymer resale and distribution business, Vinmar Polymers America (VPA). Vinmar says that with the growing global and North American demand for polymers, the significant capacity increases of polymers in North America has created an opportunity for the company to expand.

VPA will comprise international sales activities as well as Premier Polymers (Houston; www.premierpolymers.com), which distributes polymers to the North American market and will operate as a subsidiary of VPA. The new business will be headed by Kirt Dmytruk, who has 17 years of experience in the petrochemicals industry.
