AKG Polymers is renamed Veolia Polymers
After becoming part of French recycling giant Veolia (Paris; www.veolia.com) in 2015, Dutch recycler and compounder AKG Polymers on 4 January 2016 changed its name to Veolia Polymers (Vroomshoop / The Netherlands; www.veolia.nl) – for previous coverage, see Plasteurope.com of 08.09.2015.
The Dutch site, which is home to 53 employees and has an annual throughput of 37,000 t/y with sales of EUR 34m, is to become Veolia’s competence centre for the recycling and compounding of polypropylene.
