South Korean conglomerate SK Chemicals (Seoul; www.skchemicals.com) has appointed Velox (Hamburg / Germany; www.velox.com) as its distribution partner in Europe for a new range of 3D printing materials under the "Skyplete" banner. Velox said it would supply the product range to all European countries.

Manuel Delgado, 3D printing market manager at Velox, said the Skyplete range was one of the most innovative 3D printing materials in the group’s portfolio. Products in the range include the Skyplete E-Series, bio-copolyester types which feature higher impact and temperature resistance than the widely used ABS and PLA materials, as well as copolyester types that combine the advantages of PLA and ABS.
