Distributor Velox (Hamburg / Germany; www.velox.com) has expanded its distribution agreement with specialist materials group Low & Bonar (London / UK; www.lowandbonar.com) for its "Enka"-Channel and Enka-Fusion products for resin infusion. The new deal covers distribution of the two products throughout Europe.

Serge Gradys, manager of Velox's Composites business, says, "Low & Bonar is well-experienced in industrial composites and we have successfully worked together in the French market for many years."

According to Low & Bonar, Enka-Channel is a flow feeder for resin infusion that has high compression resistance and can be easily cut and quickly fixed in the mould. Enka-Fusion provides better resin distribution than traditional meshes, and ensures fast and even resin distribution. Key application areas for both are in the marine and wind power industries, for example, in the production of catamarans and wind turbine blades.
