Following CCL Industries' (Toronto, Ontario / Canada; www.cclind.com) acquisition of film manufacturer Treofan's (Raunheim / Germany; www.treofan.com) Americas business – see Plasteurope.com of 13.03.2018 – the Canadian buyer has renamed the unit. Along with UK competitor Innovia (Wigton; www.innoviafilms.com) that was acquired at the end of 2016, Treofan's Americas business has been rebranded and renamed Innovia Films. At the "Labelexpo Americas" (www.labelexpo-americas.com) exhibition in Chicago at the end of September 2018, both companies will appear under the new logo.

Management & Capitali (M&C, Milan / Italy; www.mecinv.com), owner of the remaining Treofan brand name, is likely to put the rest of its financial assets in Jindal Films (New Delhi / India; www.jindalfilms.com) – see Plasteurope.com of 10.08.2018.
